In these portraits I have displayed a small part of my family. In these first two photos,"", I captured sweet moments of my little sister Iris. Coming home with this mission to take portraits of people important to me I shared my mission with my family to see who I could take victim to complete my task. Willingly Iris raised her hand and exclaimed that she wanted to be a part of my photos. These captured moments are the result of her love of being photographed and her excitement to be a part of my mission. While, the second photo perfectly sums up my little sister, all the drama and beautiful character she is. Having here be the subject of my photos I asked her to,"pose like a model" she proudly stuck out her hip and pursed her lips looking right over her shoulder, just like the diva she is. Capturing the finest moments of my family was not easy with the upbeat and fast paste family I have.Lighting, grouping, and framing were a part of the challenges I faced each time I picked up the camera. I found out that Overcast can be better than sunny weather for taking photos. Also, how important it is to look at the small details one small thing could ruin the photo and the another could make it amazing. It is the difficult part to find the balance. I am amazed and how well I was able to take time out and observe my family, to find these moments worth being captured.
