Though it is strange every time I see a sliced orange it reminds me of when I was younger. When I was around 6 or 7 my older brother had a soccer game almost every weekend. The parents of the team were tasked with sharing the responsibility of providing the team with snacks after each game. Long story short whenever my mom brought the snacks she brought sliced oranges. Oranges now connect me back to the memories I had while attending my brothers games, the games we played, and the places we went when it was over. Oranges are a great connection to past experiences for me.

I took a picture of the twilight saga books because they are one of my most favorite series. Thinking of taking pictures of things that represent me, I knew I had to take a picture of a book. Books allow me to get out of my mind and go on adventures. I often strive to travel and have amazing adventures. Reading allows me to travel and experience these adventures I may never have on my own.

These pictures of doughnuts show my love for food. I have always been a foodie, I love trying new food and making new recipes. I have made a hobby of baking sweets for my family and I. This particular doughnut is a Glazed doughnut from a small bakery called Dom's Bakery. Dom's bakery is a common revenue for friends and family of mine. This is why I included this Doughnut in my gallery of objects.

Honestly Coke is not my favorite, I prefer Pepsi. I chose to take a photo of this beverage though because it is often connected to retro style. Retro style is something I am very interested in. I love to learn about the past and the way social culture of people all throughout history. Coke has been around so long that it reminds me of the past and brings up the feeling of wanting to know more. My constant wonder and curiosity is a big part of me.

These sunglasses were recently given to me from my mom for my birthday. The vintage style is one I connect to very much. I love to watch movies and read about the 20's-70's. Audrey Hepburn has had a big influence on my style choices lately with her very glam and girly style. These glasses remind me a little of her glasses in Breakfast for Tiffany's. My glasses are an example of my style and love for most things vintage.
