These photos are of the Huron Lake. I went to visit gallop park when the sun was about to set for the day. With the beautiful weather outside and rain showers we just had the plants were ravishing with color and life. When I arrived to Gallop I immediately went towards the water. Huron river is less traveled on by motor boats or things like that, so it is very rare to have big waves in the water. The Peace and calmness it bestowed upon all who looked at the lake was mesmerizing to me. I tried to capture this peace and calmness in my photographs.
"Yellow Glare"
"Blue Blue Water"
These to photographs were also taken in Gallop park. I moved throughout the park and searched the different little beauties the nature held. I took these photos while standing on a bridge in the park. My favorite part of this park has to be the bridge and its view. It just brings me into a different place. The bridge reminds me of adventure and things to come, but the view reminds me o the things we see along the way to, or the things holding us back from crossing the bridge.
"Tree of Patterns"
" Beauty to the Side"
Passing through the pathways of Gallop i came upon a little pocket to the left. Though I have visited Gallop many times before I had never taken the time to go off and see what this little pocket had to hold. Walking to the edge of the ground I was amazed by the view. These waters were full of fallen trees, and muddy water. These fallen trees had fallen naturally and looking at them it seemed to hold an intricate pattern of beauty. I tried to capture this great big space off to the side, giving you a feeling of mystery and curiosity.
"Entwined"
"Wild and free"
I have always had a fascination with trees and their unique textures and shape. Looking up in the sky while walking through the park, I came upon these trees and their interesting characteristics. I tried to capture the interesting nature of how the trees connect in the sky and how the branches intertwine to create another pattern. These seemed like they belonged in another place. They remind me of the wild and a free environment where things are capable to do what they please. It has an emotion of survival and ruggedness to it, which was a strange and new feeling to me.
"A Dream Land"
"Yellow Fields"
This was the first year at Gallop I had ever been able to see these yellow fields. The trees and flowers cover the hills leading to the edge of the lake and have little trails in between them so you have space to admire their beauty. The trees sticking out with the long grass and yellow flowers and buds all around reminded me of a fairytale. This scene was like a picture from a dream or a child's book you love. It reminds me of discoveries and mythical things. I wanted to capture their magic.
